If you are unable to add a file to your application, make sure that the file is in an allowed format and does not exceed the maximum size.
Note: A large file may take a long time to upload depending on your connection speed, etc. Your browser will indicate that it is working while the file is uploading. Do not leave the page until the process is complete.
- In the relevant field in the application, information is given about the accepted format(s) and the maximum size of the file.
- If no information is provided, all common formats are accepted, and the maximum size is unlimited.
- You can check the file size before uploading by right-clicking on the file and then selecting either Get Info (MacOS) or Properties (Windows). An invalid file may also be due to the file being read-only, copy-protected, or corrupt.
If your file exceeds the maximum size allowed for upload, you can compress it. There are several websites that offer this for free, such as SmallPDF. On this site, you can also change the format of your file from, for example, docx to pdf.
