Why can I not start an application?
If you are unable to start an application, it may be because the application period has not opened yet or because the application requires enhanced authentication (e.g. BankID) to start.
The application period is not open right now
Under Overview, all available areas are shown under the heading Our application areas. The status of each area is indicated by a status label showing whether the application is open, upcoming, or how much time remains before it closes. You can only create a new application when the status is open. If you wish to filter the selection, you can do so under the heading Status.
If you cannot start an application, check the date under the clock icon or via the status label to see when the application opens.
The application requires enhanced authentication
Some organisations require you to be logged in with enhanced authentication—in most cases BankID—in order to start an application. If you cannot open or create a new application even though it is open, it may be due to this login requirement. You need to add your personal identity number to your account and then log in with BankID to gain access to the application. See the support article How do I add a personal identity number to my account?
